The Company was originally formed in 1996 becoming a limited company in 1998 by Brian Stephens and his wife Linda Veale. The business experience and acumen brought from a long period of running and developing other successful local businesses was the founder’s greatest asset. They believed that the best temporary contract staff members could be secured by providing long term work at a fair rate of pay. Also by acknowledging that all temporary contract staff working for them deserved the benefits normally afforded to full time staff. The original operation started in Eastbourne but expanded to Hastings and now services clients throughout the East Sussex area. They worked very hard and built the business on the reputation of providing staff of the highest quality, securing both clients and temporary contract staff by delivering an unprecedented level of service to both. In 2007, after over twelve years hard work, the founders Brian and Linda decided to take a more leisurely approach to life and sought to find a business partner that would carry on where they left off.

Current History on Interwork Recruitment

In 2008 they finally found people within a company that shared the ethos of InterWork Recruitment Consultants Limited, a company that would continue to develop the company name. That Company, Chartley Personnel Limited was already established and traded under the name of TemPer Recruitment Services in Kent, West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. Chartley is an independently owned company, founded by the current owners in 1998 and although the companies will continue to trade independently of each other, the two companies will share the passion for providing the best work at the best rates of pay, working for the best companies locally and nationally.

Interwork Recruitment Company History

The experience shared by all staff within the new found ‘bigger’ group, gives them the experience to seek vacancies and assist clients within the public and private sectors. It is the intention to share that combined expertise throughout all branches and want to continue to specialise in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Health Care, Clerical, Social Workers, Accountants, Legal, Teaching, Kids Care, Catering, Driving and Industrial. The plan is to expand by developing the branches organically and by acquisition throughout 2009 and 2010.
